Brompton carrier stretch hook
thingiverse
The Original Broke - Let's Reproduce It! The original design has a critical flaw that prevents the insertion of the two stretch bands, so I've added a slot to make it workable. Although the fit is extremely tight, pushing the bands through the slot while stretching them helps to get them in place. I printed this part without any support, using PETG filament and setting the hotend at 5 perimeters with 30% infill to achieve maximum stress resistance. So far, it seems to be working as well as the original design. However, I've only just created this replica, so it hasn't been put through a real-world test yet.
