Brokk is a daring project hatched by the Shipyards of Earth, one of the top engineering frigates to hit the century's radar. Its lead designer masterminded a vessel as potent as its Federation counterparts, while maintaining the high firepower characteristic of imperial ships. Insiders claim that the celebrated ship designer embarked on the project as a response to snide comments from his Federation colleagues about the effectiveness of Garm and Minotaur. The theory is supported by the name of the ship, reminiscent of a legendary dwarf who won a bet and outwitted a god's wrath by sewing its mouth shut.
