Broken/Worn GE Timer Mod

Broken/Worn GE Timer Mod

You can modify your washer's timer by installing this replacement part if all its teeth have worn down. To do so, you'll need to place the new part into the WH11X10049 Dial. This may involve applying elbow grease or removing the circular bracket located on the back of the dial. Keep in mind that this fix only addresses a timer with worn-down teeth, not a dial with similar wear. If your dial is damaged, consider purchasing a replacement for $6 on Amazon or opting for an alternative 3D design. For guidance on how to remove the dial, refer to the tutorial found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bte83XDhL8k&t=148s
