This is a 3mm wide, 4mm high skirt that encircles a ram slot, ensuring it remains securely in place even if it's been damaged and no longer makes contact with the ram. Specifically designed for DDR4 ram slots on Dell Precision T5810 motherboards, but can also be adapted to fit other DDR slots - the measurements were taken from a standard DDR3 slot. A minimum of 3mm clearance is required around the slot itself.
