Real-time, game-ready, retro wooden broken boards display images rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Normal maps were baked from high poly model Substance Painter. The normal maps were baked using the MikkT tangent space setting. A basic rigging setup was implemented on the model, with pivots located correctly throughout. 3D file formats include Max 2014 (rigged), Maya 2015 (rigged), FBX 2014 (rigged, quad geometry), OBJ 2014 (not rigged), and Marmoset 3 file. This file was used to display images seen in thumbnails. Texture files are located within the .zip folder, which also contains all program files. Download the .zip file and open a preferred 3D format to automatically link texture paths. Included PBR texture types cater to both metalness and specular workflows suitable for Unity, Cryengine, and UE4: 4096x4096 Ambient_Occlusion, Normal Map, Diffuse, Gloss, Specular, Base Color, Roughness, Metalness, Ambient_Occlusion (source), Curvature, MeshNormals, Position, Thickness, World_Space_Normal. Important notes on textures: the normal maps are set to -y, compatible with DirectX. If inverted in software, use Photoshop's green channel to correct this by pressing Ctrl+i. Ensure UE4 maps for roughness and metalness are set to linear; simply click, uncheck sRGB box. To rectify shininess, merge maps in an image editor or apply a similar correction method. UV coordinates display mostly flat designs with minor overlap as needed. This model is compatible with game development, metric units applied throughout.
