Broken Arrow Model Rocket

Broken Arrow Model Rocket

Made of two pieces of BT-5 (13mm) body tube, the Broken Arrow is kind of a minimum diameter rocket. It's designed to split in half at the middle (hence the "broken arrow") and tumble for recovery, though I threw a streamer in mine too. You'll need two BT-5 body tubes for this (mine were 403mm in length) and something to use as shock cord (I had kevlar line). You may also wish to add a streamer.I've included the OpenRocket (ork) file in case you wish to run your own simulations or alter your personal version.UPDATE - 2/5/2024: Renamed "Nosecone" to "TargetTip" and added a "BroadheadTip" part so you can make either type tip. As the tip is press fit in the top tube and stays with the tube during flight you can print both and change them at will.Launch Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UalIK9rXcOA
