These legs and clamping pads replace the original acrylic cut legs that come with the DIY laser CNC/engraver sold out of China as the "30x40 CNC Laser Engraver". It is an excellent hobby tool, but it needs a lot of upgrades. These legs are the same height as the original legs (40mm off the surface, measured to the bottom of the 2020) and along with the clamping pads prevent the CNC from being moved by an accidental bump (which will destroy a job), and allow you to pick up the CNC and put it back in the exact same location for repeatability across multiple jobs or for returning to a interrupted job. As you can see from the photos, the longer clamping pad allows you to extend the leg off a work surface to allow the laser to burn closer to the edge of a work piece. You could make even longer clamping pads to extend further out of acrylic or wood if needed. This is part of a series of upgrades and enhancements to the 2020 based 30x40 CNC Laser Engraver.
