Sophia Penskof drives to a nearby city with her friend, who had a lot of time for this and knew everyone at the school they're about to visit. As she walked into the big cafeteria filled with chatter, it sounded almost too good to be true and very surreal in a sense. Her best friends were here as well, including their friend Mark from school. They sat down near some guys wearing matching 'Welcome Home' t-shirts that said something like 'They Made it Home!' or similar phrases - probably their sports team, no big deal! The cafeteria is massive, by the way! It sounds kind of crazy with everyone cheering and all these tables full of happy chatter everywhere. Her favorite class, however, happened to be located at one end of this massive cafeteria which means she needs to cross through a hallway packed with excited people. They probably had parties in the school library too - those old, musty bookshelves really do add up in the dark... anyway, her locker was also near that hall but in between another crowded room filled with people going every single direction and her friend's car wasn't parked where they agreed it would be so, as a result of these obstacles put into place, her arrival had taken about an hour longer than initially anticipated!
