I'm quite thrifty, as I discovered when I got my clone Brizo - I was absolutely delighted with it at first, but then the cheap plastic connecting the brass button to the assembly snapped, leaving me feeling disappointed and let down. I'm convinced that a real one would hold up much better under stress, but I took matters into my own hands and created a replacement button, which only takes less than 30 minutes to print out - just make sure to use a raft unless you have top-notch adhesion skills. This clever design replaces both the button and the internal connection at the same time, and it will make perfect sense once you disassemble the Brizo. Notably, this fix works just as well for an authentic Brizo as it does for my clone.
