Broadhead Arrow
thingiverse
This is definitely one of those creations that you shouldn't unleash if you're prone to reckless behavior. It's based on the same lethal broadheads used for hunting, and as such, should be treated with extreme caution. Those types tend to be pricey and not something you'd normally use unless you're actually out hunting. I sought a cheap yet effective alternative. Keep in mind that you'll be fully responsible for how this is used - I'm not taking any blame for your actions. This is essentially a broadhead designed specifically for arrows, utilizing small box cutter blades with five segments per blade. To get them to fit, they need to be carefully trimmed down using a Dremel as depicted in the picture, and then securely glued into place with superglue. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSHUc93NXGwBacoIDDqPU2w Print Settings: Printer: 3dOne.co.za Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 25% Notes: It prints without supports as the design incorporates them. With a layer height of 0.15mm, I use a 1.6mm shell and my 0.4mm nozzle. This results in minimal infill but is necessary for structural integrity. How I Designed This: I created this using Freecad.
