The Class 395 is an electric multiple-unit train operated by Southeastern in England on the high-speed line High Speed 1 and has provided Olympic Javelin shuttle services for the 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2005, a £250 million contract was awarded to Japanese manufacturer Hitachi for a set of 29 high-speed "A-trains" of six cars based on technology used in Japan's Shinkansen trains. On August 23, 2007, the first test train was unloaded from the cargo ship MV Tarago coming from Kobe. Service began on June 18, 2009. Their top speed is 225 km/h
