The scale model represents the Perth Class Cruiser, approximately 1/1800th of its actual size, with certain features intentionally rendered in proportions different from reality. Designed and constructed as part of the Leander-class cruisers under the Amphion group, the Perth Class were vessels supplied to the Australian Navy. They primarily boasted an armament of four pairs of six-inch guns and diverse secondary armaments alongside torpedo tubes. This display piece is one of a collection featuring warships from WWII.
