This Bristol M1 monoplane fighter/scout originated in Britain and first flew in 1916 during World War I, primarily functioning as a scout plane. The color scheme of the initial aircraft depicted in the fourth photo featured on this post is replicated in the model. As someone who has practiced modeling small, uncomplicated parts in Solidworks, this individual embarked on their first vehicle modeling project with this plane. Despite encountering several errors along the way, they are satisfied with the outcome for a first-time effort and estimate investing 5 productive hours on the model, plus an additional 10 hours of learning time. However, SolidWorks 2016 SP2.0 is required to open this model, as previous versions may generate errors. Additionally, the tail decal is not aligned correctly, a puzzling oversight. Feel free to leave comments or ask questions, and remember that Dutch is the speaker's native language. The blueprint used in creating this model can be found at drawingdatabase.com.
