Bristle Worm Trap

Bristle Worm Trap for Reef Aquariums. How to Set It Up: Place a small piece of uncooked shrimp inside the trap, close it, and leave it at the bottom of the aquarium overnight. Collect it in the morning and dispose of the worms. Epoxy-coated magnets or an old small glass cleaner can be used to help move it to the bottom of the tank. Alternatively, a piece of rock can be used to make it sink. It can be positioned in any direction, and the worms will find their way in. Other sources of food can be used, such as mysis or pellets, but they attract fewer worms. Clams on a shell are also good baits and less messy than chopping shrimp. Happy hunting!
