BristerMeast - 3 inch racing drone frame
thingiverse
Fully 3D printed 3inch racing drone frame is now available for high-performance applications. It accepts a 20x20 stack and accommodates a nano size camera with ease. Motor mounting pattern is specifically designed to fit the 12mm (1306) series motors, making it an ideal choice for racing enthusiasts. A lightweight canopy can be printed using TPU, then attached securely with 4 zip ties. A print setting of 2 perimeters and about 20% 3D infill should yield a perfectly balanced design. The baseplate, on the other hand, requires a rigid filament such as XT-CF20. A recommended print setting includes 4 perimeters, 5-7 top and bottom layers, and about 50% 3D infill to achieve maximum stability. My latest build weighs approximately 130g without the LiPo battery, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a lightweight yet high-performance drone frame.
