BRIO train toy ferry - MS Adelby
thingiverse
This fun toy ferry was designed by Tim Meyer-König, who regularly visits our FabLab. He created this toy for his kids so they can transport their wooden BRIO trains properly. Check the appendix "thing files" of this post to see a detailed construction report called "MS Adelby v3.pdf," which Tim wrote with all relevant information. The thickness of the board used is 3mm. He also made a very detailed post on his private account at thingiverse. Take a look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4185693 Some words from Tim: "If you build this model, I would really appreciate a picture of the finished ferry and some feedback on how to improve it. The dxf files are provided along with these instructions, and the possibilities are endless. The challenge of the design was to find a balance between details and the robustness needed when young children play with it."
