Ideal for harvesting very clean baby brine in small quantities. Directions- 1) Fill with water and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt mixed in. 2) Place a strainer mesh (a paper towel can be substituted) in the shrimp scoop to strain out the brine shrimp when they hatch. 3) Use the egg scoop to place the artemia eggs in the outer ring. 4) Place the lid on, shrimp scoop in the middle, and wait for hatching which will depend on temperature. 5) The floating hatched hulls and unhatched sunken eggs will remain in the outer rings while the brine shrimp will be attracted to the light and swim towards the middle. 6) Finally, carefully scoop out your ready-to-go baby brine shrimp. This method works well for small batches and yields clean, egg- and hull-free baby brine. A light placed over the lid while harvesting helps attract more baby brine to the middle of the dish quickly.
