Brillo Holder

Brillo Holder

If you're a frequent soldering enthusiast, you know that metallic brillo is an efficient alternative to sponges or water when cleaning your soldering iron tip. It saves time and effort. However, last year I misplaced my holder, and it seems Fry's hasn't stocked replacements since then. After a frustrating year, I decided to create my own simplified version. Thanks to Padawan for their great assistance and patience through eight revisions-even for something as basic as this. If you need a holder, consider printing one with metallic brillo (either brass or copper), but avoid pretreated pads with soap. You can find these at Walgreens or the Dollar Store. I've also included the OpenScad source for your convenience.
