I can't sew, but I can fold a shop towel and bandanna. This clip allows me to make a good mask with just two of these (quick print) and available cord/ribbon/elastic, and a paperclip. If you do a little Google search, you will find that two layers of the blue shop towels (not Scott brand, though) make a pretty effective filter. Be safe everyone, or at least as safe as you can be. I've pictured the assembly and application. Please pay no attention to the ugly dude with droopy eyelids and facial psoriasis. It's hard to find a model these days.
