Briggs & Stratton Oil Filter Wrench

Briggs & Stratton Oil Filter Wrench

thingiverse

The oil filter on my Briggs and Stratton lawn mower has such a tight clearance around it that standard models found on Thingiverse won't fit snugly around it. I attempted to replicate one using a mount for a 1/4" ratchet, but it merely rounded the square hole when turned. This revised design is specifically made for use with an adjustable wrench and features a large enough square section to easily grasp onto, allowing me to successfully remove the filter from my tractor. To print this design, you'll want to orient the large opening upwards and utilize scaffolding on the bottom. I printed using 1.5mm thick walls and a 40% infill, which worked perfectly in my case.
