This Ship is a typical commercial vessel of the second half of the XIX century. Her waterlines replicate those of U.S. Ship J.W. PARKER, built in Belfast, Maine by C.P.Carter & Co in 1874. A note about that ship appeared in The New York times dated 6 March 1887 concerning a major cholera outbreak in Buenos Aires. Dimensions, maintained in the drawing, are: Length Moulded at Rail =39.32 meters Length between Perpendiculars =36.96 meters Beam Moulded =8.79 meters Depth Moulded =4.57 meters Her sail plan, due to difficulties in finding the original sail drawings, has been taken from blueprints of a very similar ship, whose model was published in an old edition of YACHT DIGEST: the BRIGANTINO TOSCANO, a typical italian commercial sail ship of very similar dimensions and waterlines. All single parts of the model are named in English, so as their materials, and all of them are grouped in 4 blocks: brig body, masts, sails base, sails add. Simple Lights and Landscape are added to complete an elementary scene. 29 jpg images have been used for texturing, they are included in each zip file, so as any different format can be used independently.
