I've built my very first computer case from scratch. For months, I've been lugging around a full desktop rig to every job site because laptops just can't deliver the power I need. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than buying a new laptop every year. My plan is to create a custom briefcase-style desktop with the latest NUC Canon computer system, a 3D mouse, keyboard, and monitor. I'll still have to plug into a wall outlet, but I'll have a fully portable desktop where and when I need it. The design had to be tough enough to withstand rough handling like a Pelican case, but also customizable to my specific needs. To achieve this, I integrated a printed liner that anyone can use as a starting point for their own custom layout. Now, keep in mind that the files are still being tested and refined - consider this design work-in-progress for now. Here's what I've accomplished so far. If you have any questions or want to know more about my process, feel free to ask. The dimensions of the case are 540mm x 350mm x 130mm deep.
