Bridge Model For Diorama

Bridge Model For Diorama

Working on my Japan-style diorama has been a blast, ironing out the pipeline and experimenting with different methods. The planks were imported from Maya and refined using ZBrush, then exported to Substance with normals generated by ZBrush. This approach worked amazingly well for the bridge itself, which was sculpted in Mudbox and baked in Marmoset - its baking capabilities are truly impressive! I'm convinced that I'll be sticking with the ZBrush pipeline from now on, as not having to bake in another program is a huge time-saver and I'm determined to master sculpting. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with normals on Sketchfab, so this is just a test of the diffuse and normals on the bridge - but it's a great starting point nonetheless. This project was also an opportunity to try out hand-painting, a technique I've been eager to explore for years; Substance made it surprisingly easy!
