Bridge Finger
grabcad
This was a part I drew from memory that we made many years ago at a small machine shop I worked in. Not sure what it does, just remember it was called a "bridge finger", and I think it was an installation tool of some sort. This is why the maker of the tools usually doesn't make the same money that the end user does! The biggest challenge was getting the little tabs inside the forks milled without a corner radius. The spring loaded sides were relieved using a wire EDM with .004" wire.
