Brickwall Diorama Planter
thingiverse
This is a re-upload due to Thingiverse's significant technical issues. Initially, all images and STL-file previews were invisible. I've created a planter for my desert rose (Adenium obesum), but things quickly got out of hand. This diorama depicts an old-fashioned, dark, and forgotten corner of a mysterious street. Inspired by John Carpenter's movie "They Live," I've included optional billboards that can be removed if disliked. The street lamp is fully functional. Inside, a golden 5mm LED is wired in parallel to a 1.5F goldcap capacitor. It can be charged using a 5V smartphone power bank through the micro USB connector on the backside. A 100 Ohm resistor (in series with the LED) protects it from damage. With a 10-second charge, the LED will remain lit for approximately 15 minutes. The lamp, posts, billboards, manhole cover, and glass are printed at a layer height of 0.1mm. For optimal results, use 0.2mm for the rest. To achieve a worn appearance, drybrush all surfaces with dark colors. Support is necessary for the planter, posts, and lamp.
