Rugged stone slabs lie firmly stacked in front of me. Ancient boulders loom large beside them. The earth beneath my feet holds these weathered rocks securely in place. A formidable barrier made up of massive stones forms a sturdy boundary, repelling all intruders with ease. Time-worn walls of heavy stone stretch out to my left and right, standing firm against the force of the elements. The rough-hewn stones at their base give way gradually to smoother boulders near the top.
