Some upgraded components for the board game Brian Boru Update 01/03/2022 Added a thicker version of the renown tokens, as the previous version was a little hard to grab of the table. Added another design for the active town marker (remixed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:311456), which can also be used as a Monastery, depending on the color you print it with. Ideally it should be printed with a 0.2 nozzle (or a resin printer), but even with my Ender3 and a 0.4 nozzle it came out nicely Viking Control Token The token is comprised of two pieces, a top and a bottom. Each individual part was printed in two colors by changing material mid print. The parts are then press-fit together, achieving a very nice multi-color token. It's a pretty tight fit, so you might find you need to post processing to press them together. You can also optionally use the top part which has a bit more clearance. The control token bottom has a grove to fit the player disc so it shouldn't fall off easily if someone knocks the board accidentally during play, while still leaving some clearance to see the color of the player disc underneath. Renown Token Multi color achieved by changing the filament several times during the print. Monastery The Monastery is a remix of the top part of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2062447, and can accommodate a player disc on top, with some added clearance for a Viking Control token as well. Active Town marker The Active Town marker is simply this great Celtic Knot ring https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25109, just scaled down to 50%. It's also the only part that required supports, as well as a raft, to print. Ideally this should probably be printed with a clear resin for the most aesthetical result, which sadly I don't have :)
