BRI Robot Gal v1.0 Remastered
thingiverse
This remix is a improved version of "Robot Gal v1.0" by BRindustries. Aside from better tolerances, it now features a balljointed waist and up to 114,5 degrees of knee articulation. Changed files are labeled with custom names. For example; "Antenna_v2" instead of "Antenna". I have also changed some proportions for better scaling, like lower legs and lower arms being longer. Chest piece now has a wider gap to push neck balljoint without breaking the Chest piece. Tolerances might differ based on vertical/horizontal prints of the pins/holes. I recommend printing 'Neckjoint_v2.stl' and 'Shoulderjoint_v2.stl' horizontally to make them more durable. Also print 'Waistjoint2_ballJoint_v2.2.stl' horizontally with supports, so layers of the pin can be trimmed/sanded for best fit. Arms, Legs, Hands and rest of the holes/pins/ball sockets can be printed vertically. Notes; 1) Print 'Waist_ballSocket_v2.7.stl' with ball socket facing towards print bed for best durability. Printing it vertically can result with layer seperation during assembly. 2) Pins of Thigh pieces might snap if you try to disassemble it. I recommend reinforcing the piece after print, like drilling top of the pin and gluing a support material in it. A small roll of paper along with superglue can become harder than wood. This reinforcement can be applied to any joint. 3) You can cover joints with superglue to make them tighter if needed. UPDATE May 27, 2022: Joint tolerances are lot better now. UPDATE Jun 07, 2022: Changed waist ball socket size for easier fit.
