Brewing Blow-Off-Tube Caddy
myminifactory
A simple and sturdy caddy designed to hold your blow-off-tube assembly safely to the side of your fermenter, making it effortless to move around without worrying about accidental knocks from people or pets. Additionally, the sanitizer vessel now boasts a more secure top. Experienced brewers know that a blow-off tube is often necessary to stick into the top of their fermenter. This tube and chamber function as an oversized airlock, effectively catching any excess foam and liquid that may have sprayed out due to vigorous fermentation. There's no need to print this part unnecessarily. If you've used a blow off tube in the past, chances are you've taped a length of tube into an open vessel filled with sanitizing solution, hoping it wouldn't topple over and spill everywhere. It's also inconvenient when trying to move the fermenter since there's a length of tube precariously stuck into the top of an open vessel like a cup or bowl. The primary reason I created this caddy is because I have a cat that's extremely curious! I certainly wouldn't want to leave an open container of sanitizer out, and even if it's somewhat sealed, he could knock it over. But now, with these two parts, a few rubber bands, and a ball jar, you can keep your fermenter setup neatly organized and worry-free.
