Breville Smart Grinder BCG800 Impeller
thingiverse
I design this replacement impeller in Fusion 360 based on the worn stock impeller I found inside my Breville coffee grinder.\r\nThe manufacturer doesn't make this part available for purchase, but with my first 3D printer, I created it and printed out my design, saving the grinder from going to waste.\r\n\r\nMy coffee grinder was getting stuck and clicking frantically when grinding. When I opened it up, I found that the stock impeller had a lot of plastic missing around its edge, which caused it to get blocked up and stuck. After fitting this replacement, it worked flawlessly, and I only printed it in PLA.\r\nThere are plenty of guides and videos online to help you learn how to dismantle your grinder, just be sure to unplug it before attempting any repairs.\r\n\r\nPlease note that since this is a 3D-printed part, it may not meet food safety standards. The part only pushes dry coffee out into the chute, so there's some risk involved. It's up to you whether or not you want to take that risk.\r\n\r\nI found the part to be a snug fit and simply pushed it down onto the spindle, but this was printed on my own 3D printer.\r\n\r\nThis item is also available for purchase in my Shapeways store if you don't have access to a 3D printer.
