Breville Smart Grinder BCG800 Impeller
cults3d
This is a replacement impeller that I design in Fusion 360 based on the worn stock impeller. Breville do not make this part available for purchase, and armed with my first 3D printer, I created this part, and printed my design out and it saved the coffee grinder from landfill. My grinder was getting stuck and clicking frantically when grinding. When I opened it up I found the stock impeller to be missing a lot of plastic around the edge which cause it to get blocked up and get stuck. Once the replacement was fitted it has worked flawlessly, and I only printed it in PLA! There are plenty of guides and videos on the internet to learn how to dismantle the grinder, just be safe and make sure it's unplugged before attempting a repair. Please note that as this is a 3D printed part, it may not be foodsafe. The part only pushes dry coffee out into the chute. There is therefore a risk, but it is your choice if you wish to take it. I found the part to be a nice tight fit and just pushed down onto the spindle, but this was printed on my own 3D printer. This item is also available from my shapeways store, should you not have access to a 3D printer. https://www.shapeways.com/product/SR9SGYTAU/breville-coffee-grinder-bcg800-impeller
