New rotary switch handle for mixer base rotation speed for Breville SHM2 mixer.

The factory one is too small and impossible to turn if you hands are slippery (like when you are baking!).

This design is a granny-proof sized knob that is a direct replacement. The old knob pulls off with the help of a knife/screwdriver and this one just pushes in place until seated flush.

There is a spring-steel clip helping retain the factory knob, but this print is a firm push-fit so doesn't need it.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.15mm

Infill:

on sheet only

Filament: Prusament Galaxy PLA Grey

Notes:

Printed at 0.15mm layer height, 3 perimeter vertical shells, 10% gyroid infill (not critical).
Print handle-up to get the best surface finish, so the support material is on the inside only.
Support on build plate only (supports should fit within the base footprint)

Post-Printing

A bit of scraping needed to get the support out of the hole for the shaft, but can be done with a pair of needlenose pliers or drillbit.

Category: Parts
