Make refilling the hopper more often to avoid running out of material too quickly. Since my cabinets have limited height, I've had to stack my coffee maker on top, which already takes up a lot of space. Although PLA might be a better option for printing, I only have ABS at hand. If you're unsure about the contents of your ABS filament, try wrapping it in aluminum foil as a precautionary measure - it may not look pretty, but it's better safe than sorry.
