Breville 54mm magnetic tamper

The tamper that came with my Breville infuser and barista express is woefully inadequate for the 54mm portafilter it's supposed to work with. So, I set out to create a solution to fix this glaring issue. The original tamper measures 52.5mm, which is just not enough to get the job done. That's why I designed one that's slightly larger - 53.5mm to be exact. For those who may not know, it's impossible to make a tamper exactly the same size as the portafilter without creating a vacuum when you withdraw it, and that will ruin your puck in no time. This custom design has two parts: the Body and the Top. The top is cleverly designed so that a dime can snap fit into position with ease. Once the top is in place, simply hot glue it to the bottom and you're good to go!
