A 55-gallon tank houses a group of angelfish, two of which have formed a pair and are attempting to lay eggs. Sadly, their efforts have been thwarted by an unidentified culprit that consumes the eggs once the lights go out. To encourage successful breeding, a separate 30-gallon aquarium has been set up, complete with a custom-made breeding tube and mount system. The tube is made from standard 1.5" PVC piping, assembled in a specific configuration to provide stability and expand under vertical pressure. A step-by-step guide is provided for attaching the tube system to an aquarium trim, allowing the angelfish to lay eggs on the filter tubing with confidence that they will not be disturbed.
