Breathing Ventilator
thingiverse
I built this ventilator over the past 10 days. It utilizes a readily available 1500ml emergency resuscitator that can connect to oxygen, and is powered by an automotive wiper motor. The main parts were designed in SolidWorks and printed on my Prusa 3D printer out of Pet G plastic. You can manually adjust the breathing frequency (breaths per minute) and air volume per breath. At a rate of 13 BrPM, the fully charged 5ah battery should last approximately 10 hours. I built this ventilator to help assist someone who contracts COVID-19 virus. If you want to build one, I can supply all STL files and parts list for free, just note that there's around 48 hours of printing time required. The ventilator is still in development and should only be used as a last resort device. Video Links: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MZPcfW2a9q74XWDRSz_38LY3QQJAZ5Lt?usp=sharing
