Here are the parts that can be used to cast a breathing mask shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77PgC3kMrFs. The source file is available at https://grabcad.com/library/breathing-mask-with-screw-in-filters-version-2-1. By casting it in resin, it does not have pores inside, as it is completely solid. Make the cast from ABS, as it needs some post processing (cutting sandpapering) to make it fit nicely. First print all parts (screw * 2). Then make the front and back part to fit nicely in the back plate. Then screw the front, mask, and back together with the two big screws. Then bolt the complete set into the backplate. Cast a silicone mold. I used dental silicone. After curing extract the backplate and cut out the silicone mold, split it. Remove the master mask. Leave the silicone on the front and back, or glue it. Apply mold release and place all back together minus the master. Now you are ready to make a resin cast. V3 Back plate and front mask adjusted to be able to bolt them together. Added containers to cast the Main_Screw and Cap. The ring is not exposed and can be printed. The O_Ring_Cutter only needs to be printed once. V4 I made the initial cast. I had problems getting it filled with the silicone rubber. It got too viscous too fast. In the meantime, I printed a syringe. The top snapped while trying to push the missing silicone in. I drilled some holes on the front mask, to let the air out on the expected high places. And added a nut with ABS putty. Now waiting for it to dry. Also, the big screw broke in two while trying to remove it. It had a thinner part in the middle. This I will reinforce. I am also going to make a modified screw to use when casting with acrylic resin. This will mainly be filled by silicone, which will not stick to silicone. I am also adjusting the back plate to include two nuts to push the silicone in.
