Breakthrough is an ingenious abstract game designed by Dan Troyka, who cleverly adapted elements from Chess or Draughts to create a unique variant played on an 8x8 board. The game's simplicity belies its addictive nature - players must strive to advance one of their pieces across the board before their opponent achieves the same goal. I have reimagined bs3's Standing Knight and transformed it into a distinctive piece specifically for this game.
