Breakfasts On Weekends

Weekend breakfast times are truly special moments for my family and me, as they offer us an opportunity to gather around the dining table and kick-start our day in a warm and cozy atmosphere with delicious home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by my mother. Among all the mouth-watering breakfast dishes my mum can whip up, one particular favorite of mine has a classic touch – a combination of perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs and crispy toasts slathered with rich kaya spread in between. This iconic breakfast set is a staple among many Singaporeans, commonly found in food places across the island and affectionately referred to as 'Our National Breakfast'. My mum's rendition stands out solely because it's made by her hands. This model comprises three components: kaya-infused toasts, a wicker basket containing soft-boiled eggs, and a wooden bowl for cracking open the eggs. A total of 870 photographs were taken using a Nikon D5600 DSLR camera, and the model was expertly constructed on Agisoft Metashape Pro. The wooden board supporting the toasts measures 18.3x15.8cm in size, while the wicker basket has a diameter of 13.5cm and the wooden bowl has a diameter of 11.25cm.
