Secure a 12mm wooden boom using zip ties; fasten them alternately to ensure equal breaking strength in both directions. Tightly secure each tie for optimal torque and energy absorption during crashes. Zip ties can save booms, as I discovered today - fixed in just three minutes with only two ties!
