Break Away Lanyard Clip for Paracord
thingiverse
I absolutely adore wlbert's innovative design for a breakaway clip, so I decided to give it a personal touch by modifying it in TinkerCAD. I scaled down the original dimensions, which now enables hollowed out paracord - carefully extracted from a length of cord and stripped of its core fibers - to be used as a reliable lanyard material. To add some extra durability without compromising aesthetics, I beefed up the overall design, making it look more refined in my opinion. I initially printed the original version with 100% infill using both PLA and PETG, but unfortunately, they both eventually started to weaken. My revised remix is designed to provide a much-needed upgrade.
