Breadboard extension
thingiverse
I've created a custom adapter to fit my 36-pin Doit ESP32 board onto a standard breadboard. The board's width was the main issue, taking up most of one row on one side of the breadboard. To solve this problem, I designed and printed a small PCB that can be attached to the breadboard using small M2 screws or hot glue. This adapter can also be used for other boards that are not breadboard-friendly as long as they fit within the 60x40mm PCB dimensions. Some examples of compatible boards include ESP8266 adapter plates. The design is optimized for an 8.5 x 5.5 cm breadboard, and it's easy to use. To prevent any potential shorts, I suggest applying some electric tape under the PCB to isolate the pins. You can purchase the Double Side Prototype PCB used in this project at https://www.banggood.com/custlink/GG3GtTaI4r. The 8.5 x 5.5 cm breadboard is also available on Banggood, found at https://www.banggood.com/custlink/DmmGt7o82s.
