Breach Lasercut Base Plate and Tiles

Now with pictures! I've re-uploaded the SVG and DXF files because previously some vectors were grouped, resulting in them not showing up in the DXF. This is an attempt to create a two-part laser cut board for the Breach tiles to sit in so they don't get jostled during play, and also cut out the tiles needed at the same time (ambitious yes?). The dimensions are 218x204mm. It should also be compatible with Pocket Tactics, however it doesn't tessellate properly... yet. If you want a 3D printed version, check out Protean Productions' awesome thing:441884 - sadly my Printrbot Simple doesn't have the bed space to fit this in so I've made do with the tools I have on hand. See instructions for cut order. Next on the list of upgrades is to make the lower plate interlocking and the exterior margin smaller so you can increase the play area (however smaller margins are less sturdy so I might need to rethink this). Instructions The board is to be cut onto two sheets of material. There are reg marks to ensure everything lines up properly and the scale is correct (218x204mm). The top plate and bottom plate both have the same exterior outline, so they will fit flush on top of each other but internal cuts and the order at which they should be cut in change. I've separated the layers out into DXF files but if they don't work for you then you should be able to export them from the master SVG attached. Cut Order: ---Top Plate - Material sheet one -------To make tiles (optional if you've printed them already): ----------tile engraving 35mm.dxf - engraving details on the tiles ----------tile outlines 35mm.dxf - outlines of the tiles -------top interior 36.5mm.dxf -------both exterior.dxf ---Bottom Plate - Material sheet two -------bottom interior 25mm.dxf -------both exterior.dxf This sounds confusing but we have a very basic laser cutter that doesn't have the option of cutting interior shapes before exteriors to stop things from moving when they've been cut out (doesn't help that the bed isn't entirely flat either). So I've had to break it down into simple steps. There is a separate cut file for the tiles even though the interiors of the top plate should create hex tiles that would fit to size the tiles to the correct size and make putting them into and out of the plate more manageable.
