# The BRDD LGX Lite CR6 Mount Please enjoy my BRDD ([Bourque](https://www.facebook.com/michael.bourque) [Rowland](https://www.facebook.com/derek.a.rowland) Direct Drive) for the Creality CR6-SE. It is extremely light. So much, that the entire rig <b>weighs less than a NEMA 17</b>. Why is so important? Because a heavy load on the carriage causes inertia and overrun issues resulting in poor quality prints. So in the spirit of the LGX Lite I made this super light as well and it is strong, durable, and perhaps some my best work to date. I have also included some my other work and some contributions to the projects like the breakout board cover. Also my [SuperDuct](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5225863). # Important! It is very important you understand to reduce the vref of the stepper. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT try to operate it right away. You will need to lower your stepper current or you will destroy your extruder gears. This is because the stepper and extruder are gear reduced to 4X. I am saying the stepper needs very little current. In order to prepare for this you will need to change the vref. If you have a stock board (and I hope you don't), well you will need a small plastic jeweler screwdriver and a voltmeter and you need to understand how to operate it. If you fry the board, there are no more available. Even though I am an expert, I fried my own board and I was lucky to get the last BTT board with TMC drivers to change the current on user interface. You will also need to swap the wires around and it is not clear how to illustrate this. You need to read the schematics and understand which ones to flip and tp get the stepper moving in the right direction. But the good news you can flip around the wires 16 times until you get it right, it wont hurt anything.
