Braven BRV1 Bluetooth Speaker Case Replacement

I purchased this Bluetooth speaker back in 2015, but recently discovered that the rubberized outer casing had started to peel off, leaving a sticky residue on my hands whenever I handled it. This prompted me to design and 3D print a new outer shell for it. Removing the original casing took some time, but I was impressed by Braven's team for creating such a durable and waterproof design - kudos to them! This project also gave me the opportunity to try printing with TPU material for the first time, although it wasn't a perfect print. The surface of the print, especially where supports were used, felt quite rough. Despite the challenges, this experience taught me a lot about designing from scratch and reviving an old device like my Bluetooth speaker. After completing this project, my BRV1 is no longer waterproof, but I'm confident it can still withstand some rough handling.
