In 1980, the 71 cm x 125 cm wooden sculpture depicts a bull showcasing its strength and power in low-relief format. The work is by Ismaël Cacédo (born August 4, 1938, in Madrid; deceased November 5, 2020, in Orthez). The fighting bull, also known as the toro de lidia or toro bravo in Spanish, is a Spanish breed primarily raised for bullfighting events. This breed was introduced to Camargue in the nineteenth century under the name "Brava".
