Braun Type 4729 Toothbrush Base Holder

The Type 4729 charger base (which also holds 4 separate brushes) for the Oral-B Braun electric toothbrushes work well but the toothbrush itself is tall and the base is small with very little contact area for the counter top. This makes the combination of toothbrush and charger top heavy. If your toothbrush sits near the edge of a sink or countertop, the weight of the power cord can pull it off the countertop or some careless person can cause it to fall over or fall onto the floor. The irregular bottom surface makes trying to hold it in place with double-sided tape a short-term solution as the tape repeatedly comes loose. This particular base comes with a wall mount bracket but I have no intention of drilling holes in my wall for a product which has a limited life expectancy. I designed a Toothbrush Base Holder that works with the Type 4729 charger base. The charger base was attached to my Toothbrush Base Holder base with silicone. After the silicone cured I used double-sided carpet tape to attach my Toothbrush Base Holder to the cabinet and it has not come loose since.
