Braun Series 7 Shaver Power Cord Holder, circa 2010 model I deliberately disconnect my shaver from the wall outlet once its cleaning cycle is complete to avoid being irritated by a bothersome high frequency noise it produces. To prevent the plug/cord from merely hanging off the base, I crafted this compact holder for the plug. It simply dangles off either side of the Braun base and keeps the plug in an organized, easily accessible location. This device comes in two sizes: long and short. The shorter one is 1 cm shorter than the longer one, yet they are otherwise identical. I have the longer holder attached to my base on the side of my sink, causing the cable to hang vertically down. I created the shorter one assuming that the cable would come into contact with a surface if moved inwardly; however, it doesn't touch and instead does not push the plug upward.
