This simple device fits snugly over the post on your Braun Oral-B charger stand. It allows air to flow freely under the toothbrush as it charges, ensuring a mold-free, mildew-free, bacteria-free, yuck-free experience. The device prevents these unwanted growths from accumulating on top of the charger and/or on the bottom of the toothbrush. ### Update April 13, 2019 I added tiny knobs to further enhance air circulation under the device itself. To install correctly, point the tiny knobs downwards. ### Update to Summary, April 21, 2019 Just to clarify: the picture of the bare stand is not what happens when you don't have the spacer. What you see is just mineral accumulation, which occurs with hard water like ours. The picture shows that you'll still need to clean the stand occasionally. In my experience, without the spacer, the base turns a reddish/browny colour from bacteria and/or fungus. It's much worse.
