Replaces a central part of the beautiful design classic KSM 1 coffee grinder. The part fastens the metal bowl to the machine. Might work for other Braun coffee grinders from the KSM line, particularly the KSM 11 seems identical apart from the outer metal sleeve.For opening the machine, there is a screw under the label at the bottom. It might need a lot of force at first, make sure to not damage the screw head.When inserting the replacement part, push it firmly down and turn it clockwise. Use a vise or grippers only if needed. If it doesn't move, file or cut down a tiny bit from top of the two pegs to smoothen and deepen the existing two chamfers.I printed this with PETG, it tolerates higher temperatures and is tougher than PLA. Use high temperatures, low level height and 100% infill to make it as tough as possible.There is a STL-version with included support structures. It will guarantee a smooth contact with the metal bowl.Watch out for friction heat. I am only using this for short bursts of 3-5 seconds or less and allow for cooling in between. Nor sure how well this will hold in long-term use. Your food will get into contact with the printed part, so use at your own risk.
